The best female bodybuilders from around the world
All competitors shown with their individual on stage routines
Multiple camera positions, with a good post production finish
Cons about the video
Similar over brightness as the Fitness Olympia 99 tape.
Not all competitors interviewed
One poor pit camera shot, that's it. (Could have been edited out)
The jib and the wide angle shots can be distracting and show less physique perspective
Final Thoughts
Ms. Olympia 2001 was thoroughly competitive and hard to judge. All of the
competitors were in tremendous condition. Just think, Joanna Thomas placed
last at the event, yet won the Jan Tana in August. The heavyweight class
was easier to judge relative to the lightweights, but still had no clear
cut winner from the outset. The video was produced very well, other than the
brightness and contrast adjustments needed to attain the proper colour
depth on screen. This is not a duplication issue, rather some
camera-to-lighting issue with the main stage forward camera position.
